ABOUT THE ALBUM
On the heels of making his scoring debut in the Netflix "Spy Ops" TV show, being 1 of 16 selected for the GRAMMYs® 'Next' Class of 2023, featured in Spotify's "Best Jazz of 2020-22" & Amazon Music's "Best Jazz of 2022 + 2023" internationally celebrated artist Mike Casey announces his 9th release in 8 years, "Valencia" ! Originally his masters thesis while studying at Berklee's selective Valencia Spain campus in 2019 & premiered live at Spain's national concert hall Auditori Nacional, 'Valencia' showcases him moving far beyond the polar opposite sax/bass/drums trio & electronic/hip hop formats into expansive, cinematic, global acoustic fusion.
