Out of the Wind-Into the Sun

Out of the Wind and Into the Sun, The Bothy Band's third album, received ecstatic critical acclaim when it was released in 1988. Powerhouse arrangements and superb musicianship on such tracks as "Rip the Calico" must rate as milestones in the history of recorded traditional music. The chilling "Streets of Derry," featuring Triona Ni Dhomhnaill's sensitive and emotional vocals, must also stand as a classic recording and her very best one to date.
