ABOUT THE ALBUM
Michael W. Smith returns with a heartfelt Christmas EP inspired by thoughts of Christmases past and future"Christmas at Home" features 6 brand new Christmas standards that will awaken the listener's Christmas memories and remind them why we celebrate this most beautiful of seasons. The EP started with the song Freeze The Frame, written by Michael W. and Tony Wood painting pictures of family moments around the holidays where we all just wish everything would just slow down so they could be enjoyed just a bit longer. Once that song was written, the others just flowed out of Michael and inspired him to bring his kids and, at the time, 16 grandchildren (recently grown to 17 with the addition of Owen in September 2022). As the final project came together five of the six songs on the EP ended up featuring multiple collaborations with his children. We are excited for you to hear it.
