Hardcore Devo Live

It's not a descent into a lower state, but it is a journey back in time: a voyage back to the early, experimental pieces Devo wrote from 1974-77, before they'd had any kind of label deal or even cult fame. This nostalgic June 28, 2014, performance from the Fox Theater in Oakland finds the legendary Devo revisiting the raw, unfiltered early songs they themselves call "hardcore Devo." This was the band's own tribute to the late Robert "Bob 2" Casale, who had passed away a few months prior to this performance. "Mechanical Man, " "Fraulein, " "Space Girl Blues, " "O NO, " "Midget, " "Beehive, " "Clock Out, " "Gut Feeling, " "Social Fools, " "Fountain of Filth, " "Bamboo Bimbo, " "Be Stiff, " "Jocko Homo, " "Satisfaction" and more. 21 early creations by one of the most visionary and pioneering bands ever to exist on a new 2021 exclusive pressing! 2 LPs: one natural opaque with black swirl and one natural "milky white" opaque! Strictly limited to 500 copies!
