Underclass Hero

Limited pink and black colored vinyl LP pressing. 2007's Underclass Hero marked a step in a bold new direction for Sum 41, whose three previous full length album's, 2001's All Killer, No Filler, 2002's Does this Look Infected and 2004's Chuck saw the multimillion-selling Canadian outfit quickly ascend the pop-punk ranks. "You Can't help buy grow a little," said vocalist/guitarist Deryck Whibley about the band's musical and lyrical maturity at the time. "We now see the artistic side of music. We wanted to make this the most artistic punk-rock record we could. We approach music differently now. Things now have a purpose. We care about the craft of it now." A politically charged concept album for the underachieving slacker, Underclass Hero is chock full of madcap punk-rock energy, explosive guitar riffs and a compelling confrontation of inner and outer demons.
