ABOUT THE ALBUM
San Francisco hardcore stalwarts Western Addictionreturn with Psychedelic Munitions, a high-octanesuccessor to Frail Bray that captures the explosive fervorand technical precision of their Bay Area roots. Recordedand mixed by Scott Evans at Sharkbite Studios andAntisleep Audio, then mastered by Brad Boatright atAudiosiege, the album delivers a massive,"live-in-the-room" sound that avoids modern Polish infavor of visceral, room-shaking grit.Despite the time between releases, the band bridges thegap with a collection of songs that feel both seasonedand dangerously urgent. Psychedelic Munitions standsas a definitive masterclass in authentic California punk, honoring the legacy of the Gilman Street scene whilepushing the boundaries of the genre's aggressivepotential.
