As It Happened: Horse Lords Live

Horse Lords bring the fervor and fury of the beloved band's show to wax with As It Happened: Horse Lords Live, a collection of recordings that capture the quartet's galvanic energy as never before while toying with the trope of a live album. Captured at a series of concerts across Europe spanning multiple tours throughout 2022 and 2023, As It Happened is a mediated, and at moments consciously and conspicuously edited presentation of a Horse Lords performance that strives for a certain level of idealization. With performance at the center of the band's practice, and elements of chance colliding with Horse Lords' tightly composed and complex music, As it Happened works as both provocation and total jam.
