If You're Feeling Sinister

On colored vinyl for the very first time, Belle and Sebastian have announced a new pressing their 1996 classic If You’re Feeling Sinister, a red edition of the LP limited to 1,500 copies. The release coincides with the band’s performance of the landmark album at Pitchfork Festival 2019 in Chicago this July, marking Belle and Sebastian’s first full performance of the album in North America. “The simplicity — the strummy guitars, Murdoch’s reedy and conversational tone, the gentle propulsion at work in even the quietest songs.” -- Stereogum “[The band] reaches peaks of effortless pastoral grandeur.” -- Rolling Stone
