ABOUT THE ALBUM
The debut solo CD from Chicago's O'Connor features urban honky tonk originals, Blue Ridge mountain-style harmonizing. SoCal country flavorings and some truly uptown citified soul. It's full of style and grit and it finally puts a spotlight on Nora's amazingly sweet, yet deliciously salty beautiful soaring blackbird of a voice. In the past, she's lent her talents to Andrew Bird, the Blacks, the New Pornographers, Archer Prewitt, Neko Case, Kelly Hogan, Mavis Staples, the Aluminum Group, Jeff Tweedy and more more.
