ABOUT THE ALBUM
Seelie Court - the world's premier label for rare and previously unreleased archive recordings of underground folk, rock, proto-metal, and psychedelic music presents Lifeblud, 1973-1978. After Lifeblud's 1969-1972 period of poetic Progressive Rock, main man Roger Knott looked back into the Golden Age of Rock n Roll and between 1973-1978 created a group of songs heavily informed by the classic pop of the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, The Beatles and with a tinge of British Psychedelic Pop. The 34 songs preserved on this Double CD were unreleased until now, and catch that brief moment of Pub Rock that quickly morphed into Punk. Able assistance is provided by members of Ducks Deluxe and The Fixx.
