Lady (Mod)

From her earliest days playing piano by ear to her breakthrough as a country music voice in the early 1980s, Terri Gibbs has always sung with heart, honesty, and soul. Blind since infancy, Terri's gift for storytelling through song became unmistakable with hits like 'Somebody's Knockin', and here, on 'The Lady' originally released in 1984, she continues that journey with a collection of songs that balance country warmth with personal sincerity. This record features ten spirited and intimate tracks, from the tender plea of 'Please Forgive Me' to the reflective soul of 'The Lady I Used to Be' and the heartfelt affirmation of 'There's Never Been a Woman'. With each lyric and melody, Terri brings us into her world, a place of love, resilience, and the graceful honesty that has defined her music for decades.
