ABOUT THE ALBUM
"A charming mixture of the jovial and the hypnotic" read the NY Times after seeing Slaraffenland at SXSW 2008. The 5-piece from Copenhagen has become an indie household name following their debut & multiple tours in the US. "We're on Your Side" merges stage & studio - bringing their virtuosic musicianship (brass, woodwinds, percussion augment guitars & drums), compositional experimentalism (think Sonic Youth + This Heat) & the proven energy of their live show into absolute & addictive focus. It's the record Slaraffenland fans have been waiting for - and the record that will garner many more.
