ABOUT THE ALBUM

Wes Bayliss is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose voice carries the weight of Southern tradition and the honesty of a life well-lived. Raised in Woodland, AL, he grew up surrounded by family, guitars, and gospel harmony. Before he was old enough to drive, he was already on the road, traveling from church to church and festival to festival with his family band, learning how music could move people. As the frontman of The Steel Woods, Bayliss helped carve out a sound that was both raw and reflective, country roots with a rock edge and a whole lot of soul. Over four studio albums, he became known for the kind of voice that cuts straight through, building a loyal following that connected with the band’s grit and heart. Now, Bayliss is turning the page and walking a path that takes him back to where it all began: his faith. His new work is grounded in Scripture, guided by conviction, and focused on truth over trend. It’s gospel music in the truest sense, born from belief, built on the Word, and delivered with the same fire that’s fueled him all along.
