Gestures

Many Voices Speak is the project of Matilda MÃ¥rd, an artist whose heart-aching dream-pop has won fans all over the world since the release of her debut single "Video Child".A cover of "Blue Moon" brought her international attention, fittingly for a song that resonated strongly with MÃ¥rd's musical DNA, possessed of a melancholic elegance that runs through her own work. Her debut album Tank Town delivered on that early promise, drawing praise from Stereogum and The Line Of Best Fit, and taking MÃ¥rd out on tour across Europe. The lush detailing and stargazing mood of Gestures makes for an album that's powerfully moving, one that creates a space apart from the noise of the world around it - a retreat for MÃ¥rd, and her listeners, to call their own.
