Trill It Like It Was (Mod)

Double tracking his vocals and hiding behind the twin pseudonyms of 'Tippy and Terry', with this remarkable album Ted Templeton (mastermind producer behind the likes of Van Morrison, Little Feat and The Doobie Brothers) took contemporary hits of the 60s and 70s and remade them as charming Vaudeville numbers popular in America nearly 100 years ago. Taking the wailing saxophones, crying violins, and stuttering trumpets of the early 1930s and applying them to a selection of contemporary hits, this album is as funny as it is interesting as it is unique. Now a highly sought after record in collector's markets after becoming a cult classic upon it's release, this obscure gem flips the script on huge tracks including "Hey Jude", "Light My Fire" and "Spinning Wheel".
