Chuck Bridges And The L.A. Happening (Mod)

From the groovy Sunset Strip, to the cool waters of the Pacific, L.A.'s sprawling and ever expanding musical landscape of the late 60s had a lot to offer. Standing as one of the great soul rarities of it's time, Chuck Bridges and The L.A. Happening's 1969 debut and only LP accurately captures a snapshot of the musical landscape that this excellent band briefly called home. Featuring a sumptuous mix of Soul, Jazz, Rock, and Pop and featuring a wonderful ensemble of big horns, smooth guitars and funky rhythms, this staple of the collectors market stands as a testament to the strength of the young and exciting acts this wonderful state had to offer.
