Ashes Featuring Pat Taylor (Mod)

Rising like a Phoenix from the remains of the 'Young Swingers' only to later again reform as 'The Peanut Butter Conspiracy' (and losing their drummer to one 'Jefferson Airplane'), 1965 marks a moment in time for the five members of Californian folk, rock and psychedelic group 'Ashes'. Recorded in 1968, and released with Vault Records in 1970, 'Ashes' is a dreamy, eclectic folk rock album that accurately captures a snapshot of the musical landscape that this band briefly existed in. With vocals from American folk royalty Pat Taylor, this staple of the collectors market features standout tracks including 'Sleeping Serenade' and 'Homeward Bound'.
