Country (Mod)

As a world renowned musician, bandleader and a true icon of New Orleans' music scene, Al Hirt made his name by being one of the best trumpeters in the jazz universe. So surprised were it's inhabitants when this unusual little album appeared. Merging the sounds of his legendary horn with the traditional Nashville country and folk beat, this unique blend of favorite traditional songs with a modern, popular approach sees Al producing the ultimate in country, pop, and jazz fusion on tracks including 'Orange Blossom Special', 'Break My Mind' and 'Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain'.
