Feelin' The Blues (Mod)

Despite signing to major labels and going on to build a remarkable legacy in the music industry, it can be argued that the Chambers Brothers never were better than on their original Vault Records recordings. Out of print for decades, these recordings, originally released between 1965 and 1970, are anything but predictable. These eclectic collections feature live and studio sets, secular and religious music, slow-grinding blues numbers, and scorching rockers that highlight the continued importance of the blues as an art form and aesthetic for people at that time. Here on 'Feelin' the Blues', The Chambers Brothers effortlessly blend their blues, rock 'n' roll and gospel influences into a style that quickly garnered the respect of music critics and many of their peers and would soon see them sign for Columbia. With tracks including 'I Got a Woman', 'House of the Rising Sun' and 'Don't Lose Your Cool'.
