ABOUT THE ALBUM
Drum fans take note - here are some of the swingingest takes from one of the most powerful bands in the history of modern music: The Buddy Rich Big Band. Two previous reissues have elated thousands of fans; this set takes the cream of those CDs (material originally recorded between 1966-70) and adds cuts from yet to be reissued LPs, plus 2 unreleased takes. Highlights: A live version of "Apples" recorded at L.A's famed Chez Club and an alternate take of "Diabolus" from the yet to be re-issued the New One LP.
