Perhaps contemporary music's most unique vocalist, McFerrin's inventive music is often imitated but never duplicated. A consummate musician, the classically trained artist (who regularly performs with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra) has recorded with Chick Corea, the Yellowjackets, Manhattan Transfer and Jon Hendricks; performances with these artists are represented here, as well as the jazz classics "Spain" and "Blue Bossa" and the international smash "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
