ABOUT THE ALBUM
CARRY THE WOOD revels in the increasingly noteworthy Philadelphia quartet's further development, as they grow more confident as songwriters, singers and players without losing any of the jagged charm. Philadelphia City Paper" Some people compare the music of The Teeth to the Kinks, David Bowie, Talking Heads and the movie Punch Drunk Love. CARRY THE WOOD was recorded on a 16-track recording device in a garage/barn, and they sure took their sweet time recording it. There are lots of harmonies and lots of exciting sounds on this album... kind of scary and uplifting at the same time.
