ABOUT THE ALBUM

In 2009, Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate) released their debut LP "What It Takes to Move Forward", playing a major role in kick-starting the "Emo Revival", which has produced some of the best break-out artists like Into It. Over It., Modern Baseball, You Blew It!, and The World is a Beautiful Place and I am No Longer Afraid to Die. Empire! Empire! Toured relentlessly off the release, watching the pressing sell out. Now, 5 years later, it is back in print and far more popular than ever before. Quiet/loud dynamics, filled to the brim with cathartic emotion - Empire! Empire! #show why they are still the flag-bearers of the movement.
