Tatum Art

With dexterity and imagination to scare the riffs out of any other musician in the room, Art Tatum remains one of the handful of most masterful jazz instrumentalists of all time. Prior to Storyville's involvement, almost all of this stuff had never made it to CD (and a lot of it had never been issued in any form). Live performances, armed forces radio transcriptions, radio broadcasts, ultra-rare TV appearances, private parties, nightclub shows and Art's home recordings are among the sources of these 212 tracks dating from 1934 to 1955.
