Pilgrimage Mississippi to Memphis

What happens if you take three young European artists, all musically rooted in the blues, yet untraditional in their approach, on a journey of musical discovery in the American south. Thomas Ruf, owner of Ruf Records, asked that question and got his answer in the forms of Aynsley Lister (UK) Ian Parker (UK) and Erja Lyytinen (Fin). Their journey started in Clarksdale, Mississippi and then headed to Memphis, Tennessee. The result is PILGRIMAGE, a musical evolution of the blues created from a journey of self-exploration and study of it's roots.
