Yggdrasill

Vinyl LP pressing. 1992 release. Raw, untamed, furious yet sophisticated, Yggdrasill is undoubtedly an essential cornerstone of the Norwegian Black Metal scene. Despite the young age of their members in their teens at the time they recorded it, Yggdrasill already shows Enslaved ability to write complex, powerful and evocative compositions, being among the first ones to tap into the Norse mythology and Viking imagery to convey their Nordic heritage.
