Fatal Portrait is a black metal band from Santander, Spain, active since 1998 and known for blending aggression, melody, and Scandinavian-inspired structures. After making a mark in the underground with Rapture Among the Idols (1999) and An Elusive Instinct of Lascivia (2001), the band went silent following their 2006 release Adventum. Now, in 2025, they return with An Elusive Instinct of Lascivia - REDVX - a complete artistic reconstruction of their debut. Not just a re-recording, but a modern reimagining with new arrangements, deeper dynamics, and refined production, preserving the original darkness while elevating it's emotional intensity. Featuring artwork by Joan Llopis Doménech and a new logo by Christophe Szpajdel, REDVX marks a bold and mature new chapter in Fatal Portrait's legacy.
