Safe Until Tomorrow

Pete and Maura Kennedy, double-decade veterans of the road as a duo and as members of Nanci Griffith's Blue Moon Orchestra, have once again satisfied eager fans around the US and across the Atlantic with their strongest yet collection of new songs. The duo are beloved by folk/rock and Americana fans for their sense of style and their classic jangly guitar tapestries, but they don't shy away from anthemic roots rock, and that places them perfectly in today's dynamic social climate. Uplifting melodies dovetail with smart and oftentimes hard-hitting lyrics that address the things we all talk about in the office and online, but with The Kennedys patented tuneful sheen. That calls for a strong dose of stirring melodies, Maura's angelic vocals and straight-from-the-heart lyrics, all couched in Pete's Rickenbacker-fueled guitar landscapes.
