Red Cadillac

The album has received rave reviews, including from both Blues Revue and Living Blues magazines. It is an instant soul classic and has been compared to the great soul recordings of Stax, Motown and Hi Records. While recapturing that sound and feel, Red Cadillac has a 21st century attitude with some social commentary about the current mess along with good time songs, love songs, love lost songs and occasionally a suggestive lyric or two. These are 14 well- crafted songs, nearly a double album, performed by an artist at the pinnacle of his career, backed by top musicians, including Texas band, the Rays who also backed him on the critically-acclaimed No Boundaries CD. The songs are all originals written by Rawls and Bob Trenchard, who wrote the No Boundaries songs for him.
