ABOUT THE ALBUM
Vinyl LP pressing. Never released before on vinyl (outside of Spain), this compilation compiled by David Byrne archives the best that Forro (the dance sound hailing from Northeast Brazil) has to offer. The vinyl package includes extensive liner notes and a download card. "This is Party music. A mixture of ska with polka in overdrive! It's party music from the "rub a daughter" territory, from people who've been through hard times, who live in a parched, unforgiving area of Brazil, the Northeast." - David Byrne.
