ABOUT THE ALBUM
2015 repress, originally released in 2008. Six and a half years after the release of his last album Into Submission on Tresor (Tresor 173), James Ruskin returns with The Dash, delivering prodigious new tracks that are not only stunning in contrast to his earlier dark and urban techno but even startling as the tracks unfold in bold innovation. With The Dash James Ruskin is in full control and weaves a work of penetrating electronica that shares dancefloor pieces with heady, downbeat soundscapes. An album of integral finery that will have you 'listening' more intently with each play.
