Year of the Rat

The third in Fucked Up's series of records based on the Chinese astrological cycle. Side A's "Year of the Rat" memorializes this transformative year of political and cultural uncertainty with a cascade of guitars layering into a dense and propulsive charge reminiscent of the most memorable Hawkwind songs. The flip side, "First Born" is not just a meditation on fatherhood, it's an uncompromising push towards a new sincerity.
