Kaddish

The Hebrew mourning prayer-and the death of Ginsberg's mother in a mental hospital-inspired one of the great works of the Beat generation. This 1966 Atlantic LP finds Ginsberg reading his "ecstatic American narrative poem" to a rapt crowd at Brandeis in '64, and this reissue couples the poet's original liners with in-depth notes by scholar Harvey Kubernik!
