Songs for the Turntable

These three words - Drivin N Cryin' - tell the story of most people's lives: The freedom, the heartbreak, the dreams of better things. Countless followers have rallied to the call of DNC ever since the group exploded out of Atlanta in the late 80's and began their epic journey as one of the great live and recorded bands of all time. Drivin N Cryin's latest release 'Songs for the Turntable' marks a significant return to DNC's unique form of weaving rock, americana and folk into a sonic tapestry that can only be called the 'Drivin N Cryin' Sound.' Working again with producer Paul Ebersold at Sound Kitchen Studios in Nashville TN and Ardent Studios in Memphis TN, 'Songs for the Turntable' most closely references the classic Drivin N Cryin' recordings 'Whisper Tames the Lion' and 'Mystery Road'. Big guitars, anthemic melodies, tight musicianship, and the reflective lyrics of venerable songwriter Kevn Kinney make this recording the finest Drivin N Cryin' yet.
