Midnight At Malibu: The Essential Victor Harris

The year was 1947. Introduced by Nat King Cole, Victor Harris teamed up with Fred Waugh, who became his life long business partner. They put together numerous recording sessions for years. Finally, a song called "Sax Fifth Avenue", which Victor penned, caught the ears of radio DJs first and then the labels came knocking. The duo signed with Warner Bros. And the record went GOLD! This was Victor's biggest monetary success in the business and it was to never be repeated. As anyone who cares about music knows, money has nothing to do with music. Victor has written endless amounts of incredible songs during his career. Now for the first time we are elated to share a collection of them. It's a California thing. It's a timeless sound. It's an American story. It's one man's passion and life's work... It's MIDNIGHT AT MALIBU.
