Memory Lame (Gate)

Guitar and drums duo GIRAFFES? GIRAFFES! Have been making fiercely unique music since their explosion into the San Francisco Bay area in 2005. Their mostly instrumental, odd-time compositions quickly grabbed the attention of listeners worldwide and their second album More Skin With Milk-Mouth is a quintessential math rock album. With every new release, they continually make music that is both melodic and technical, experimental yet accessible-and the result is a sound that is both transcendental and incredible fun.Spanning 37 "chapters" that seamlessly bleed into one another over six tracks, the duo have created a monolith of an album in Memory Lame that builds from the erratic melodicism their cult fanbase has come to know and love.A1.
