ABOUT THE ALBUM
Vinyl LP pressing. Riposte is the 2010 debut album from the instrument-building, genre defying duo of Buke and Gass, whose music is loud yet folky, polyrhythmic yet melodic. Currently celebrating the recent release of their third album Scholars, the band is revisiting the record that started it all (with a colored vinyl LP reissue) - winning them appearances on NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concert series, raves from Pitchfork, and tours with The National and Lou Reed.
