The 43rd album by The Council Of Thirteen continues the progressive and classic rock sounds of the Council. 15 new epic songs written by keyboardist/composer John W. Edwards. This time COT offers a tribute to the style and sound of pop/rock hitmakers Fleetwood Mac. With thoughtful lyrics, inspired production and a signature orchestration. The album leads off with the uptempo "You Can't Say No", an ode to instant attraction. "Silver Lining", a song dedicated to the memory of Christine McVie follows with it's optimistic lyrics. "Eyes Like Windows" is a plaintive duet in the style of McVie/Buckingham compositions. "Whispers In The Night" and "Don't Let Me Wonder" are new versions of previously released songs with the emphasis on new instrumentation and that easy flowing Fleetwood Mac style. "Electric Summer" channels a little ELO and features John's first lead vocal. "Salvation" is a poignant ballad in the style of Christine that is melancholy and bittersweet. "The Thrill Of The Chase" is an uptempo Buckingham-style song about romantic pursuits. "In And Out Of The Dark" and "Rainy Day Heart" are Rumours-era inspired songs.
