ABOUT THE ALBUM
"Somewhere But Nowhere" is the 28th album by The Council of Thirteen. Featuring 14 new songs written by keyboardist/composer John W. Edwards. After the Europop album "That Night", this is a return to the classic/progressive/gothic rock stylings of the band. Featuring the light pop sound of "Postcard From Myself" to the gothic rock anthem "Ashes In My Hands", the classic rocking style of the title track and "Shadows On The Glass", the Carly Simon-esque "Caught In The Current" and another progressive gothic tune "I Can Feel It In The Air". A little something for all types of listeners, is the hallmark of all of The Council of Thirteen's albums. Stunning album imagery captures the essence of the music within. Promotional YouTube videos are available for "Somewhere But Nowhere", "I Can Feel It In The Air" and "Postcard From Myself". For fans of ELO, Roxy Music, Kansas, Honeymoon Suite, REO Speedwagon, Alan Parsons Project, Asia, Genesis, Cheap Trick, Foreigner, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar, Journey, Styx, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Buggles and more!
