ABOUT THE ALBUM
This album is a collection of songs that Mac Dre and Jay Tee recorded together over the last 15 years. In 1990 they recorded a song called "Do the Crew" on a 4-track and were due to re-recorded it before Dre was arrested for an alleged bank robbery and spent 5 years in prison. On his release, Dre and Hay Tee put together THE ROMPILATION, one of the biggest compilations ever to come out of the Bay Area. Adter that, they would often make music and perform shows together throughout the years.
