ABOUT THE ALBUM
The first official release of Bill Evans recorded live at the Penthouse jazz club in Seattle, Washington on May 12 and 19, 1966 with bassist Eddie Gomez and drummer Joe Hunt. This is Resonance's 8th official release in cooperation with the Bill Evans Estate and was originally recorded by DJ Jim Wilke for KING-FM radio. The deluxe CD includes an extensive booklet with rare photos, liner notes by Evans scholar Marc Myers and interviews and testimonials from Bob James, Eddie Gomez and Joe Hunt.
