Orange

Guitarist Jim Campilongo's critically acclaimed LP is back. JazzTimes wrote "... you've got the makings of a very twisted guitar hero who deserves worshipping. Clever, crafty, quirky and cool.". Mix Magazine wrote ".from his almost Hendrix-like aggression on the opener, "Backburner," to the airy "Blues for Roy," to the bittersweet solo performance of "When You Wish Upon a Star" that closes the album, the tunes are unified by Campilongo's musical soul and character." The band features Stephan Crump - acoustic bass, Tony Mason - drums and percussion with acoustic guitarist Steve Cardenas featured on "Orange" resulted in Ink KC proclaiming ".Orange is a record that will have guitar geeks' jaws on the floor, but it also presents enough moments of absolute beauty that listeners with no particular interest in the instrument itself will find plenty to love.". Meticulously recorded on analog and mastered for vinyl, "Orange" is a must have from the Campilongo catalog. (Previously deleted: 5/1/15. Original release date: 11/13/12)
