My Ride's Here (Blue)

My Ride's Here by singer-songwriter Warren Zevon was originally released in 2002 shortly before the Excitable Boy's passing. Described by Zevon himself as "a meditation on death," the album features a number of songs co-written with Zevon's esteemed friends and peers, such as Hunter S. Thompson, Carl Hiaasen, Paul Muldoon, and Mitch Albom, as well as guest performances by David Letterman, Paul Shaffer and Zevon's daughter, Ariel. This critically acclaimed album is now available on 180 gram vinyl for the first time with brand-new liner notes by Ariel Zevon, Paul Shaffer, Carl Hiaasen, and Paul Muldoon, as well as never-before-scene outtakes from the original album cover photoshoot by famed rock photographer Henry Diltz.
