Manzanita

Singer-songwriter Mia Doi Todd has released four albums of her own genre-defying music. The first three, THE EWE AND THE EYE, COME OUT OF YOUR MIND and ZEROONE were solo acoustic recording. Her last album, THE GOLDEN STATE was on Columbia State, Mia has now found here way back to the world of independents and signed with Los Angles label, Plug Research. That brings US to her 5th album, MANZANITA and by far her best to date. "Like a 21st Century Yeats she transforms our species' dilemmas, follies and misery into cathartic beauty. In this time of relentless ugliness, we need Mia Doi Todd - LA WEEKLY"
