ABOUT THE ALBUM
With an enviable international reputation, violinist Janine Jansen works regularly with the world's most eminent orchestras including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. She was the Featured Artist at the 2014 BBC Proms, culminating in an appearance at the internationally-renowned Last Night of the Proms. This new recording combines two of Michel van der Aa's recent pieces: the Violin Concerto, with Janine Jansen and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra recorded live in November 2014, and Hysteresis, performed by the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and Kari Kriikku.
