This compilation features thirty-three of his hits recorded for the Capitol label, between 1952-62. Includes four C&W #1s, Joe Allison's 'Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young', Roy Drusky's 'Alone With You', Drusky's 'Country Girl' and Willie Nelson's 'Hello Walls', the latter being Young's biggest crossover hit and first million seller. During this period Young's style changed considerably, from the fiddles-and-pedal-steel Honky-Tonk of his early hits, to the smooth, more commercial Countrypolitan of the early 60s.
