ABOUT THE ALBUM
EU-only collection. Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John" is one of those pop classics that have resonated throughout the past fifty plus years without really dating at all. Jimmy Dean was much more than a country singer who crossed over to the pop market. If anything his country roots became less important as he carved a niche for himself, firstly in Network Television and then as a major manufacture of sausages! Features his first major LP release Big Bad John plus a selection of tracks from his 1962 LP Portrait of Jimmy Dean and all his hit singles up to 1962. Fully detailed liner notes covering his career
