ABOUT THE ALBUM
Vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Womack & Womack's fourth album released in 1988 is now being re-released on vinyl! This LP comes packaged in a gatefold jacket and features their successful hit single "Teardrops". Cecil Womack (Bobby's younger brother) and his wife Linda Cooke (Sam Cooke's daughter) were both already successful songwriters when they teamed up to perform together. The gospel roots of their vocals shine through even as they mix R&B dance cuts with Quiet Storm soul gems on this 1988 LP: "Conscious of My Conscience," "Teardrops," "M.P.B. (Missing Persons Bureau)," "Friends (So Called)," "I Am Love" and more.
