Amr (Uk)

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2018 release. As frontman and songwriter with legendary black metal pioneers Emperor, Ihsahn cemented a formidable reputation as one of the underground's most idiosyncratic creative forces. Ihsahn's seventh solo album is his most eclectic and challenging to date. Morphing from mellifluous art rock ambience to vicious extreme metal, covering all points in between. Drenched in evocative synthesizers and brimming with skewed but irresistible riffs, Amr is Ihsahn's most accessible record to date. In style terms, his solo work and work with other artists has shown multiple musical forms from classical music to industrial metal to progressive metal and more.
