ABOUT THE ALBUM
Limited five 180gm vinyl LP box set. Sparks -The Island Years is a collection of the band's four Island studio albums along with a bonus disc of other tracks from the same era. All five albums - Kimono My House, Propaganda, Indiscreet, Big Beat and The Rest Of Sparks - are pressed on heavy weight vinyl for the ultimate listening experience. Surprisingly enough, the recordings in this box set span a very short period of time - 1974 to 1976. However, these are the albums that brought the band their greatest commercial success outside of the U.S. Band leaders Ron And Russel Mael - the band's only constant members - have managed to follow their own musical path for more than 45 years and they still haven't lost their.err.spark.
